Search EYFHS, GENUKI or Google

The EYFHS search engine is capable of searching for individual words, parts of words of even whole phrases. A longer phrase may often provide you with more selective results. For example, searching for the 1901 census is best achieved by typing in the phrase '1901 census' rather than simply searching for the word 'census'. If you don't find what you are looking for, please try broadening your search. Looking for '1901 census of places in Beverley' will produce less results (if any) than '1901 census' or 'census Beverley'. Also try 'census +Beverley +1901'.
